Senior/Manager (Mechanical / Electrical), Health Infrastructure Projects Division


Job Descriptions:

To provide Technical Electrical/Mechanical Engineering expertise to :

  • Assist the Project Development Teams with the assessment of the provision of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Infrastructure systems for Healthcare Facility Development
  •  Sourcing and continuous sourcing of new technologoes in M&E systems
  •  Develop and maintain a technical resource library for M&E services in Healthcare facilities.
  •  To provide technical support for Mechanical, Electrial & Plumbing (MEP) related matters during the development and construction of MOHH projects, and may be required to work on site.


Job Requirements: 


  • Engineering Degree in the respective (Mechanical or Electrical) disciplines from a recognised university

  • 8 years of working experience in the construction and design of buildings’ mechanical and electrical systems.

  •  Experience in MEP Design Consultancy Firms with domain expertise and knowledge of the healthcare industry would be a distinct advantage.

  • Possess initiatives and a keen sense in engineering design and requirements for building MEP services

  • Candidate without a recognised degree but with technical diploma and more than 15 years of relevant design experience may be considered

Assistant/Project Manager Health Infrastructure Projects Division


Job Descriptions:

1.    Coordinate with multiple authorities to ensure all requirements are met.

  • Consult authorities on land allocation, identify major issues for discussion and propose solutions.

2.    Manage the projects approval process to ensure all approval papers are in                          order and are submitted on time.

3.    Support the procurement process for consultancy services and builders.

  • Prepare Express of Interest (EOI), tender documents, recommendations documents etc. for the procurement and appointment of consultants and builders.

4.    Deliver the projects within the stipulated time frame and budgets in                                     addition to meeting MOH/MOHH quality requirements.

  • Manage consultants and builders to ensure effective delivery of projects. Area of responsibilities include:
  • Liaise with other Ministries and Authorities with project-related issues.
  • Work closely with consultants and builders to provide value-added inputs for effective designs to meet operational requirements.
  • Liaise with clusters/operators to ensure that all users’ requirements are taken into consideration.
  • Manage variation orders to ensure proper and timely documentation of recommendations to facilitate assessments and decisions from management.  

5.    Acquire domain knowledge and build technical expertise for the                                            development and implementation of healthcare infrastructure projects.

  • Consolidate and share lesson learned.
  • Multi-departmental collaborations to compile and streamline process; develop technical references etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Building / Construction / Project Management or related field with minimum 5 – 7 years of related experience.
  • Candidates with lesser years of related experience may be considered for junior level position.
  • Confident and able to work under pressure.
  • Possess excellent planning, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
